Meet, Cameron.
Cameron is an Investment Manager, Founding Member and GP Managing Partner of Relevance Ventures, based in Nashville, Tennessee. Cameron also serves as President/COO of Nest-TN, LLC, a State of Tennessee certified TNInvestco. Before founding Relevance Ventures, Cameron ran derivatives trading for Unum Group from 2009-2011, hedging interest rate risk on the company's $40 billion investment portfolio. Prior to Unum, Cameron was Vice President and head of high-yield basic industries sales and trading research at Wachovia Securities from 2005-2009. He began his career as a distressed debt analyst for Banc of America Securities in 2000 where he remained in various capacities until 2005.
While at Banc of America Securities Cameron was a member of a highly respected basic industries research team that was ranked #1 by Institutional Investor magazine, a distinction that would follow the team across firms. He currently serves on the Board of several portfolio companies, including CivicEye, La Mend, and Passport.
Cameron graduated from Stanford University where he received his degree in Economics, as well as played for the Stanford baseball team. Cameron is a member of the Patawomeck Indian Tribe of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
